Dallas (saison 5) DVD Review

Nominé pour le 18 Emmy Awards et 15 Golden Globes dans sa course la saison de treize ans, Dallas est le gorille de 1000 livres avec le théâtre en prime-time / genre soap opera. Présenté en première en 1978 comme une période de cinq mini-série de partie, le spectacle mêle le sexe classique et des insinuations d'opéras-partout avec du savon après-midi, l'aventure en roue libre des Wildcats Texas et Filthy Rich barons du pétrole capitaliste. La combinatoire explosive des amours rampante et de haute relations enjeux d'affaires obtenu de bons résultats avec des hommes et des femmes,incitant CBS à Dallas faire le pivot de sa programmation vendredi soir (retour quand les gens effectivement regardé la télévision hier vendredi). En conséquence, Dallas est devenu l'une des séries les plus réussies de télévision dans l'histoire. En fait, le fameux "Who shot JR?" Épisode ( "A House Divided" Air Date: 3-21-1980) possède encore sa place, comme la deuxième télévision la plus regardée show ever (la finale de la saison de moût est # 1). Avec sans doute le vilain le plus mémorable de télévision jamais créé, il est peu surprenant que Dallas a tenu le # 1ou n ° 2 sur place dans les cotes de Nielsen pour la plupart de la décennie 1980.

Avec Dusty et Clayton Farlow à ses côtés, Sue Ellen (Linda Grey) commence une nouvelle vie dans le ranch de Southern Cross à San Angelo. La guerre qui s'ensuivit entre les deux Over Baby John Ross fait pour certains du drame des plus agréables heures de grande écoute jamais produit. La chimie à l'écran entre Hagman et Grey est tout simplement magique. Ils parviennent à dépeindre un amour-haine crédible relation entre un mari et femme, et c'est l'un des conflits en cours qui a lancé le montrer à lasommet du classement Nielsen pendant près de quatorze ans (ce qui en fait la plus longue fiction en prime time dans l'histoire de la télévision).
